In order to fully understand the origin of sin and the battle of good and evil inside us, there is a need to search for answers from the scriptures. The earliest mention of the Fall is in the Garden of Eden. Let us consider whether these earliest accounts of the human fall can provide us with critical answers to fundamental questions about life.

In this presentation, several of the fundamental questions posed in the introduction are answered. Did human beings fall by eating a literal fruit called the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, as is written in the Bible? What was the real cause of the Fall? A new look at the events and circumstances surrounding the Fall can yield surprising conclusions when we consider the relationship between the key figures of Adam, Eve and the Serpent.
